Summer Protective Styling Brunch Recap

I had the pleasure to attend the Summer Protective Styling Brunch in Harlem, New York a few weeks ago. It was hosted by Haute Kinky Hair and Klassy Kinks and took place at Chocolat Lounge, a restaurant in Harlem.
After a three course breakfast, attendees were entertained with a panel discussion on everything from which protective styles are most effective and how to take care of your hair while protective styling.

Ijeoma Eboh, founder of Klassy Kinks showed off her new sew-in weave using Haute Kinky Hair wefts.

CEO and Co-Founder of Haute Kinky Hair, Antoinette Murray, discussed how she created the Haute Kinky Hair brand and how the hair is substantially different from other companies.

Christina Brown of LoveBrownSugar and BabyBrownSugar discussed her protective styling methods and how she cares for her hair while in protective hairstyles.

After the panel discussion, there were plenty of giveaways and networking. Here are some photos of us mixing and mingling…

As you can see from the photos, we had a ton of fun and it was an awesome event!
