June Goals | Getting Back on Track...

Geez guys, we're already halfway into 2017! Seriously like how is it June already? Well I'm here to update you on what I've been working on in May and what I plan on accomplishing in June.

A new month equals a fresh start to plan new goals and more time to continue working some of the ones that you've set for yourself.

On that note, let's get started with my goals for June!

Blog Goals

Consistency // I've been trying to pre-plan and pre-write posts for a while now - I did a great job of preplanning in April but got really distracted in May and didn't stay consistent. My goal for one-two posts a week shall be achieved in June.

Instagram // I have been more active with posts on IG and IG Stories so I would like that to continue as well. I always try to make a conscious effort to post on Instagram daily, either to my story or to my main feed. I would also like to interact with my followers more on there so if you’re not following me already head to instagram.com/tiffany.arlene and follow. 😁

Email Subscribers // I really have to create and send out my very first newsletter, especially after moving the Beautifful Curls blog and content to this site. If you would like to keep up with me via e-mail, you can head to the sidebar and drop your info under the Newsletter section.

YouTube // I guess this goes along with consistency but I really want to record, edit and post one video per week. I have a bunch of footage recorded already, lets hope I actually get to editing them soon!

Personal Goals

Fitness // I was doing so well and crushing my fitness goals in March and April but I didn't go to the gym as much in May so I have to get back on it! My goal is to get moving for an hour a day for five days each week. I don't necessarily have to spend that time in the gym so I'm going to continue to try walking, biking, dancing, jogging, etc. 

Finances // I'm seriously about to start a no spend/no buy. I went a little crazy with concert tickets and travel expenses this spring so I have a credit card that needs to be paid off. I think my no spend will require me to not buy coffee, limit my weekend spending, no clothes/shoes/accessories, no beauty products, and continue to eat out and drink less.

Health // Despite my not so great fitness habits in May I haven't gained any more weight back so that's great! I would definitely credit it to my diet and me cooking at home more. I cook at home a lot more and have been a lot more health conscious when it comes to what I eat and when.

Cooking // I'm doing pretty well with this one - I went from not cooking to becoming a culinary genius! Just kidding, but I have been making some amazing meals and I honestly can't believe it.

Well that's my list of goals for the new month!

  2. I also want to try and make a youtube video every week! It's so hard to stay consistent. Especially when editing takes so long!

  4. So many of your goals are goals that I have set for myself as well! Consistency with posts and getting more active on IG are two of my blog goals, and your personal fitness and finance goals are really similar to mine too! Good luck with your goals!

  7. These are great goals. Definitely feel you on the consistency one. I need to do the same with my blog/Youtube/IG. Also need to get myself moving (gained some weight that has to go!)

  8. In June, I'm working on staying in my lane. I get distracted from what I'm good at, writing and content, and be trying to do EVERYTHING ELSE. I'm hiring help when I can and learning to just seriously stay in my lane.

  9. Love the goals! I have similar ones as well. For my blog, I would like to be more consistent in my posting, as well as in scheduling my posts ahead of time. Personal goals for me include going to the gym more often, cooking healthy foods at home, and going to bed earlier. Your list has inspired me to write out a list for myself, both blog and personal goals! Thanks for sharing yours :) Best of luck on accomplishing them all!

June Goals | Getting Back on Track...
